I've been journeying with the feminine archetypes for 30 years, and it was during my training in Guided Imagery and Music that I discovered the power of giving form to the inner world through art. Over the years these two things have merged into a more conscious artistic expression beyond that in my dream journal. These are the images you see here on this website. So I am largely self-taught as an artist.

My professional life has travelled through the realms of music, the creative arts and psychotherapy. I've trained in classical piano, obtaining a Bachelor of Music degree (Melbourne University, Music Therapy major), worked professionally in music therapy for 8 years (psychiatry, Huntington's Disease and the frail aged). During this time I completed the Graduate Diploma of Movement and Dance (IECD, now Melbourne University, which focussed on movement and dance expression in education and therapeutic settings).

Then completed the first two levels of training in The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (a music centered form of psychotherapy), taught workshops in community arts projects, personal growth and development workshops for women ("Revisioning Menstruation: a Blessing not a Curse"), and classes in release dance (a bodywork and imagery centered approach to creative expression through dance). Looking for further training in psychotherapy led me to the Certificate Training Course in Soul Centered Psychotherapy (Kairos Centre, Melbourne), where I continued the exploration of dreams, and their weavings in our lives, in a Kairos Centre dream group for 10 or so years. I've also been teaching classical piano in private lessons for 30 years, work with my photographer husband, and am slowly building a body of artwork.
